Mark Rotblat, VP, TubeMogul joins me live over Skype to discuss online video and how TubeMogul is making the job of syndication and reporting manageable.

Internet video is a key tool for any emerging growth company, professional or other to create brand awareness and market position as a domain expert. With the advent of “Universal Search”, videos now rank high in search engine results.

I have set up a new media studio at my home office to test out a few new ideas for producing interviews over the web.  I am using a number of tools on my mac to create this type of show that features live RSS ticker, branding and two camera feeds. I have a new HD camera, lights and a laptop that complete my portable studio. If you are interested to learn how to make internet video part of your marketing strategy, feel free to email tim at (domain) to discuss your needs.

Note that the Vimeo Video Plugin for Wordpress does not work with both 4:3 video sizes and 16:9 at the same time. Thus, the video below looks a bit weird because the video plugin is set for 16:9 wide angle ratio.

The Wine Biz 2.0 with Gary Vaynerchuk, Wine Library TV.I took the opportunity to sit down with Gary Vaynerchuk from Wine Library TV who was visiting Seattle for the Taste Washington wine event.   Gary is an expert in new media, social networking, viral marketing and internet video. Gary and his team have built the Wine Library retail business from $5 to $50mm in revenue by leveraging new technology to reach a whole new market of tech-savvy wine lovers. His message is simple “we are going to change the wine world…” and he has created a massive following. Take a look for yourself.

Gary’s message here is positive and inspiring. Enjoy the video. Best, Tim Reha

–SNIP–  Gary Vaynerchuk has captured national attention as a businessman and Internet celebrity. Gary’s fame can be attributed to his pioneering, multi-faceted approach to personal branding and business building. At a very young age, Gary took over the family business, a liquor store in New Jersey. Over a period of 6 years Gary and his father Sasha rebranded the business as Wine Library and transformed it from a local store doing roughly $4 million in sales annually to a $50 million national industry leader.  The development of the Wine Library juggernaut reached its zenith on August 25, 2006 when Gary was featured with a caricature in the top left corner of theWall Street Journal, a lifelong goal of Gary’s that he achieved before the age of 30!On February 21, 2006, Gary launched Wine Library TV (WLTV), a free daily video blog in which Gary tastes and reviews wines. Gary unleashed the same passion and gusto to building the WLTV brand (now affectionately known as “The Thunder Show”) that he had previously brought to his business, with even more far-reaching results.   Gary made television appearances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and The Ellen Degeneres Show, and he has garnered widespread media recognition including features by the LA Times andWashington Post.In February and March of 2008, Gary became increasingly known throughout the Web 2.0 community. His remarks on branding within the social media landscape at FOWAStrategic Profits, and South By Southwest occasioned praise from established web denizens includingKathy Sierra and earned the admiration of countless bloggers and aspiring entrepreneurs. Gary even made headlines with an impromptu free wine party during South by Southwest. Ever the lover of community and humanity, Gary proceeded to launch @santagaryvee, a free merchandise service using the Twitter platform.
